You can export resources — markers, symbols, marker styles,
tooltip styles, font styles, and color schemes — to create an archive file for backup or to share with other MapsAlive accounts. You can export the resources used by an individual tour or export all the resources in your account.
One reason you might want to export resources would be to share them between MapsAlive accounts. For example, your office in Cincinnati might develop a set of markers and marker styles that you want to use with other accounts to standardize the look of all tours. The Cincinnati office could then export those resources and send them to users in other offices so they could import them into their MapsAlive accounts.
How do I export resources?
- Click in the menu.
- Click to download an XML file containing an archive of the resources in this tour.
- Click to download an XML file containing an archive of all the resources in your account.
- Click on the confirmation dialog.
- Save the file to a location on your computer.
